Dolomites

Seceda is my favorite place ever, we are at 2500m and look out from up there over the rest of the world with this towering rock giant beside us. A crazy feeling, feeling so big and so small at the same time! To get there there is either a 3-hour trek up or the cable car that costs 25 euros which includes round trip!

Last but not least and especially not less beautiful is the Seiser Alm! I recommend going there before 9 am not only because you will not pay for parking but also to enjoy the sunrise from this crazy place! After parking in P1 take the asphalt road that goes straight ahead and slowly turns into a real trail entering this almost flat scenic loop tour that you can easily walk in a morning and offers crazy photo spots

Getting to the Giau Pass is quite easy, just drive up from the valley and making no less than 29 hairpin bends and you will immediately find yourself in front of a free parking lot a few meters away from which is this spectacle! You can walk up to the slopes of this huge dolomite rock and from there numerous trails start!

Famous for the color of the water, almost unreal, due to very fine transported rock dust coming from the glacier and biological chemical conditions that must be preserved and unaltered it is therefore FORBIDDEN to swim in it! But nothing forbids us to have a nice picnic at the edge of this beautiful lake! The route to get there is about 2 hours (for those who love hiking trail 217) for those who want to get there easily trail 215 is much shorter but with a slightly overhanging section of iron rope!
